Our client in the travel and tour industry based in Accra seeks to hire an operations manager who will be in charge of communication with clients on their travels including the delivery of tailor-made travel proposals and the management of all activities related to the preparation, execution, and evaluation of the tours

The ideal candidate shall report to the CEO

Key responsibilities

  • Be the main contact person between the potential client and the company
  • Convert personal travel wishes into tailor-made travel proposals
  • Ensure all necessary steps are being taken from the inquiry, booking, execution to an evaluation of the tour
  • Handle feedback and complaint in a professional manner
  • Assist in annual business report writing
  • Act as a liaison between the office and the field staff
  • Optimize tour handling and other administrative procedures

Requirement and experiences

  • A degree in tourism and hospitality management, business administration and/or communication
  • 2-year relevant working experience within the tourism or hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good marketing skills
  • Knowledge in visa application and tour packages
  • Customer-service orientation
  • Time-management, planning and organizing skills
  • Flexible, hard-working and team player
